P-P-Party

Yesterday I left Koh Lanta and took the ferry to Koh Phi Phi, which took about an hour. It was a good day to leave Koh Lanta, because it was cloudy and even raining sometimes. It was still easily hot enough to go the beach, but still.

Koh Phi Phi is a beautiful island. It’s pretty well-known, because the movie “The Beach” was filmed here. That’s probably the reason there are so many tourists here, it’s also the most expensive place I’ve seen so far.

But they have great partys here and for european standards the prices are still very low of course.

So yesterday I went out with two english guys I met in the dorm at the hostel. First we got a few beers and drank them while watching “Hangover 2” (which actually plays in Thailand) in the hostel lobby / living-room.

After that we went out and everyone got one of these buckets:

Armed with the buckets, we then made our way to a beach party and danced. I will admit, that I am not sure if I finished the bucket. They are fucking strong.

Today we woke up pretty hung-over and just had a relaxed day. Got some food and some drinks on the beach. We also visited the Phi Phi Viewpoint and had a stunning view over the island.

Tomorrow I will leave Koh Phi Phi and travel to Koh Phangan!
